About Us

DMV Impact is a dedicated non-profit (501 (c) (3) youth basketball organization that focuses on developing young athletes, ages 7 to 18, as well as unsigned seniors, both boys and girls, by equipping them with the essential tools, knowledge, and discipline required to excel in the sport. We set high standards for our players, emphasizing the importance of character and commitment both on and off the basketball court.

Mission

The mission of DMV Impact is to change the culture of youth travel basketball. More specifically, we strive to change the win-at-all-costs, negative youth basketball environment to a healthier, more positive environment through a focus on teaching, coaching, and learning.

DMV Impact revolves around nurturing each athlete, pushing them to realize their fullest potential as players, students, and well-rounded individuals. We firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of success, which is why we uphold the mantra: “If you don’t make the grades, you can’t make the plays.” This philosophy underscores our commitment to academic excellence alongside athletic development.

Moreover, DMV Impact is deeply invested in community service. We encourage our athletes to engage in meaningful local service projects, fostering a sense of responsibility and leadership that extends beyond basketball. Through teamwork, team building and community involvement, we aim to instill values that help our young players thrive in all aspects of life.
